An awards program to recognize excellence in video marketing by and for Canadian organizations. These awards evolved through a need to recognize and celebrate creativity, innovation and those pushing the boundaries of creative excellence in the emerging video marketing arena. The Canadian Video Marketing awards are not tied to any advertiser, magazine, trade association, ad club or other outside influence.

The Canadian Video Marketing awards are the first of their kind and are leading the way in showcasing great video marketing in this country. Using relevant evaluation criteria and a panel of judges from across the country, across industries and across practices, the awards reward only those who work exemplifies the best in their class.

The Canadian Video Marketing awards strives to offer an affordable and accessible awards program. Offering streamlined online submissions, a suite of tools to shout out the winner’s achievements, supportive customer service staff and an opportunity to come together with others in the video marketing arena to learn, be inspired and network.

Agencies, producers, in-house teams, independents, non-profits, influencers, and content creators!

Entry Fees

Early Bird (October 3, 2019): $150 per entry, $75 for additional categories

Regular Rate: $225 per entry, $100 for additional categories
(entries close November 15, 2019, 11:59 p.m.)

Attend the Canadian Video Marketing awards luncheon on December 11, 2019 – with keynote speaker TBA, from $139 (limited), $199 early bird, $229 regular rate.

  • All work submitted must have been completed within 2019 up through the final deadline.

  • Entries may not have been previously entered in the Canadian Video Marketing awards competition unless 51% or more of the work has been revised.

  • The awards may request proof of initial production, publication and/or air date.

  • A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.

  • The Canadian Video Marketing awards reserves the right to disqualify or reclassify incorrectly classified entries at their discretion.

  • Judges reserve the right to make no award in a category if submissions do not meet their expectations.

  • Canadian Video Marketing awards respects and acknowledges the intellectual copyright of the entering firms’ creative work and we will fully protect those rights.

  • A publicly accessible link to all videos entered must be provided along with a hi-resolution 15s snippet of the video for use if the entry wins an award.

  • An entry is defined as a single video or a campaign where there is a series of videos which are obviously connected.

  • Additional categories may be selected and an entry submitted by the applicant, but may not be considered by the judges if they feel it does not fit.

  • The Canadian Video Marketing awards is not responsible for any entrant submission error or non-receiving of an entry. A confirmation email will be sent to all successful entries.

  • The decision(s) of the judging panel are final.

  • Full credits for videos entered must be listed.


All Canadian owned or operated businesses, organizations, or non-profits.

In order for entries to qualify for judging, payment must be received before the judging process. If payment is not received, entries will not move to the judicial stage. Entry payments are accepted online only. All payments are final. Any ineligible or withdrawn entries cannot be refunded.
